Stephanie Karozos, MD practices Functional Medicine, Integrative Medicine and acupuncture.

In her Integrative and Functional Medicine consults, she offers extended visits with patients, which include a deep dive into their health history, expanded panel testing, lifestyle and nutritional recommendations, and supplement review and recommendations. Her goal is always to identify and treat the root cause of disease whenever possible. Her acupuncture evaluations and treatments involve both a traditional and musculoskeletal-based approach. She is experienced in providing evidence-based, non-pharmaceutical solutions for patients, and responsibly and safely reducing medication use when possible. She believes in actively partnering with her patients to empower them to participate in their own health, disease prevention, and healing. She enjoys helping patients whose ailments are generally considered difficult to treat, including but not limited to those with anxiety, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, PCOS, chronic fatigue and chronic pain.

Dr. Karozos graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis in 2015. She then moved to Colorado for her Family Medicine residency training at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, where she was elected chief resident. She completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at St. Anthony North Family Medicine and with the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, and is acupuncture certified through the Helms Medical Institute. She has participated in Functional Medicine training through the Institute for Functional Medicine including a foundational course and in-depth hormone training. Dr. Karozos is board certified in both Family Medicine and Integrative Medicine. She currently lives and practices in Aspen, Colorado, and is licensed in Colorado, Indiana, Texas, Georgia, Florida, and Wisconsin. She is available to see telemedicine patients who are located in those states at the time of the visit.

Outside of work, she enjoys time in nature, hiking, skiing, camping, reading, live music, and spending time with friends and family.
